Home Remedies for Bronchitis Guide

Bronchitis is an irritation of bronchi, the respiratory tract's airway carrying air into the lungs. Among the main bronchitis symptoms is a persistent cough producing considerable phlegm quantities.   2. Take half a teaspoon of clove powder, pepper powder and ginger powder. You can mix them with one tablespoon honey or you can put them into a cup of tea to drink.
  3. Onions comprises expectorant properties. Besides liquefying phlegm, they stop its further formation too. Consuming raw onion juice, on an empty stomach, would heal people suffering from bronchitis.
  4. Take 50 grams of leaves of fresh spinach, 250 ml of water, 1 tablespoon of honey and a bit of ammonium chloride and make a paste. Intake of the mixture daily would relieve people of bronchitis.
  5. Sesame seeds have properties able to cure bronchitis. Mix a tablespoon of linseed, a bit of common salt plus a tablespoon of honey. Drink the mixture before going to bed. It would aid in the bronchitis treatment.
  6. One more way of taking sesame seeds is powdering half a tablespoon of it and combining it with 2 tablespoon of water. Drink this twice a day. Another preparation would include a decoction of half a tsp sesame seeds. Consume it regularly, twice a day.
